Builder Gel, Acrygel and Poly Gel: What's the Difference?
Builder gels, acrygels and poly gels are all used to strengthen, shape and extend nails, but they behave differently. Here is how the products in the FlowMe range compare, based on their product pages.
Poly gel: short extensions without forms
Moon Full Poly Gel is a universal material for nail extension and correction: it strengthens the nail plate and is used for modelling and correction. Its consistency allows building short extensions without nail forms, and it is easily distributed with a brush or an orange wood stick. It has no odour and does not spread. It requires Moon Rubber Base as a substrate to enhance adhesion (see the guide to rubber bases). Available in 15 ml and 30 ml.
Builder gel: architecture and the C-curve
Moon Full Builder Gel №SQ02 (30 ml) is softer than poly gel. It is made for durable nail coatings and correct nail architecture: it extends nails to the desired length and shape and holds the C-curve (arch) without deforming. It is self-levelling and requires Moon Full Rubber Base as a substrate to enhance adhesion.
DNKa' Builder Gel #0002 Angel (30 ml) is a low-temperature, medium-consistency modelling gel for nail extensions, reinforcement and sculpting. It is self-levelling and easy to control, lets you work dust-free and build the correct nail architecture without deformation. It suits one- and three-phase systems on natural nails, forms and tips, and cures in LED/UV lamps.
Acrygel: acrylic strength with gel ease
DNKa' Acryl Gel #0001 Glass (30 ml) is a clear acrygel that combines the strength of acrylic with the ease of gel. It has a medium consistency, does not run and files easily, and is used for extensions, overlays and reinforcement. Low odour, dust-free work, LED/UV cure.
